I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a 1:1 yoga session with Kristy Carmichael at The Yoga Space, and honestly—it was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

From the moment we connected, Kristy made me feel completely at ease. There was no pressure to perform or push beyond my limits. She took her time with me, guiding me gently and thoughtfully through movements that felt doable, nourishing, and completely manageable. That alone made the experience special—but it was Kristy herself who truly made it memorable.

She just gets it. She understood my energy levels, asked the right questions, and adjusted things in real time so I never felt overwhelmed. Her calm, easygoing nature made it so comfortable to open up, and I’ll admit—there’s something really soothing about hearing her warm Canadian accent throughout the session. It brought a peaceful rhythm to the whole experience.

What I also appreciated is that Kristy sees the full picture. After our yoga session, she offered me a personalized meal plan to support my energy and wellbeing. We’re now working together on my nourishment journey, and I’m genuinely excited to share more about that soon.

This wasn’t just a yoga class—it was a full-circle moment of being seen, supported, and gently guided back to my body. If you’re someone who’s looking for a soft, grounded way to reconnect with yourself, I can’t recommend Kristy and The Yoga Space enough.
